Putnam City Academy Teacher of the Year Pamela Hill

CONGRATULATIONS TO PUTNAM CITY ACADEMY/SOAR TEACHER OF THE YEAR, PAMELA HILL!

A little about Ms. Hill:

After retiring after 26 years in education as a science and math teacher in the Texas panhandle region, I moved to Oklahoma in 2021.  I am beginning my 29th year in education; after starting a second career in education in Oklahoma, I have taught at Bethany and Putnam City Academy, also teaching adjunct chemistry with OCCC.  I truly enjoy working with the students at Putnam City Academy, feeling that I know more about them as people than I have ever felt with students before, as we work together toward them earning a high school diploma.  I am especially proud to be working as a counselor with SOAR students, applying new techniques and methods in helping these students how to find pride in achievement as they work toward personal and academic goals. On the personal side, I have 3 grown daughters and 3 granddaughters, two of whom graduated from Mustang High School and a third who is still in school.  I and my life partner, Robert, enjoy reading, cooking, listening to music, visiting with family, and basically just relaxing.

Congratulations!
